Success: Jeff and Joe choose the JWC Muffin Monster Over the years Auburn Mass Sewer District has improved their pump stations, SCADA, odor control, and VFD drives, and has now added new Muffin Monsters.
Jeff Mitchell and Joe Cusson contacted Bob Mack of NE3 to discuss their current set up. They asked if JWC's Muffin Monster could help them. Bob Mack showed them a simple inexpensive way that a standard "Wall Mount Frame" could support a Muffin Monster in their wet well. Bob went on to explain how this frame holds the Muffin Monster about 8" away from the wall and directs 100% of the flow to the Muffin Monster. He also explained that the frame has an open top so if the unit shuts down for any reason, the flow can escape over the top of the inlet area of the frame, keeping the line from becoming clogged.
Auburn tried one unit and found it easy to install, and it operated flawlessly. Now they have a total of six wall mount units in five different pump stations.
Note: The largest Wall Mount Frame holds a Channel Monster that can handle 40 MGD. Please contact Bob Mack for Jeff and Joe's phone number. [return to success stories] |
